State of the Union speeches are long, complex and hard to grasp. More important is the amount of time and effort that the President’s Office allocates to put them together.  If they are properly analyzed, these speeches can give good information about the country’s state of affairs. The following is a word cloud visualization of the last State of the Union speeches of four Mexican Presidents: Carlos Salinas (1988-1994, PRI), Ernesto Zedillo (1994-2000, PRI), Vicente Fox (2000-20006, PAN) and Felipe Calderón (2006-2012, PAN). This word cloud generator draws each word at a size proportional to its frequency. The source of all the speeches is the website of the Office of the President of Mexico.
